Goodnight Angel

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

Our Angel Lori so sadly slipped away this morning. She was so brave and so strong and defied all the odds but today she could fight no more. She will never ever be forgotton. She is such a special little girl who touched so many hearts and the precious 6 years she had will live with us forever.

Lori’s Celtic room

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Everyone that knows Lori knows that she loves Celtic, so Loraine & John, over the last few days decorated her room from top to toe in Celtic.  From hooped walls to celtic bedcovers.  Pictures and posters of her favourite “Nakamura”.  She spent her first night (Sat night) in her new room and she is so happy, she loves it.  Thanks to all who helped transform her room to make the little princess so happy.  Special thanks to Wullie the painter!  Rangers man who wore a Celtic top whilst decorating, just to make our wee Lori happy.

Sad News

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Well we got the news we were dreading last Tuesday, Lori’s condition has deteriorated and has only a limited time left. All the family are devastated as you can imagine.

They are off to center parcs tomorrow till Friday as its one of Lori’s favourite places and she loves being there. I was up visiting Lori, Eddi, Loraine and John today and they are just about hanging together, they are finding it all very difficult watching one of their loved ones dying in front of them. I am having difficulty in writing anymore as I do not know what to say.

Lori It is sometimes hard to write something about someone you love but its even harder when they have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.Lori Callaghan is a bright, happy, beautiful, intelligent and most of all loving 5 Year old girl who has been dealt the cruelest fate anyone of any age can get, a Brain Stem Tumour, with no chance of surgery.

I have created this page to enable friends and family to post their comments and wishes and hopefully some good news.
